Deep Fake

 

Recently, you heard more about one name - Deep Fake as they are mentioned in tamanna deep fake, actress deep fake,  subtle AI-generated content. This is the most destructive and constructive AI technology. Let's get briefly into this topic. 


Deep Fake emerged in 2017. This is the combination of Deep learning and Fake news — Deep Fake. Deep learning is one of the concepts in AI. It is expert in content similarity, feature extraction, pattern recognition. 


Deep fake works as, 

  • Feed the enormous data (pictures) into the computer with slightly different facial shots through an AI algorithm called an encoder. 

  • The algorithm will learn the face in detail. 

  • Another algorithm – decoder will recover the face of every minute action. 

  • You can use that face for new content creation or else existing video. 

  • For a better video, this has to be accomplished on every frame. 


This is the one AI method. Likewise, there are other methods too. 


Some of the bad-quality deep fakes are easier to identify, 

  • Eyeblink, 

  • Lip synchronizing, 

  • Flickering, 

  • Fine details - hair, teeth, 

  • Reflection on the iris, 

  • Inappropriate brightness. 


Finding the best-quality Deep fake is really hard. But you can use AI to fetch the deep fake videos that are under research. Another method is to find the birthplace of that media. Using it, you conclude with knowledge that the media is deep fake or not.
