Go With Your Profession!
If you are a workaholic, then you can prefer to select a book based on your profession. For instance, if you are interested in content writing then choose books based on content writing, keyword research, keyword selection, and so on.

Go with meditation and exercise to keep your mind focused.
Finish your Hurry Burry Work!
Before diving into reading a book, try to finish all your nagging tasks to keep your mind fully in reading.
Set an environment!
Make the surrounding environment preferable for reading without any distractions.
Keep away all electronic gadgets from that environment.
Prefer a brighter spot with a light-fragmented candle.
The spot could be faced in the garden or other natural areas for pushing your brain into the book deeply.

Ditching!
If you like a book, you can read faster. So feel free to ditch the titles, if you don't like it. That will create a space for a newly interesting book.
Hence don't be afraid to quit a book.
Scary!
Don't take too much pressure to finish the book by day 1. Keep on improving day by day.
Make shorter goals like finishing 5 pages per day. If you achieve it consistently then increase the pages.
Don't be scared, it's just a book to read for fun.
Sharing!
If you started a book to read, share it on social media with a deadline to finish the book. So you can get an extra boost to complete the book because people will ask you about the book at the end of the deadline you mentioned.
Also, be first to review the book as per your point of view.
Goodreads and Reco are some of the applications for reviewing books.
You can use it wisely by reviewing the books you read and getting the good reviewed books for your reading.
And also share your thoughts about the book you studied with friends and families.

No Time For Reading!
Carry a book (having a minimum number of pages) wherever you go. That will help you to finish your reading goals of the day by any chance.
For instance, if you go to a mall, you are stuck in a long queue for paying bills. You can use that time for reading despite scrolling the mobile.
If you are fully occupied with other chores and don't get a chance to read as per your plan, then you will get satisfaction at the end of the day for reading a book in a queue to complete your reading on that day.
Borrow time!
Borrow your time from something in your hobby/routine activity (that is unnecessary) for reading.
Get your television hours to read. Spend 2 hours watching television and the remaining hours put it reading.
Stop scrolling your mobile and take that time to read.
Set a Dedicated Reading Time!
Arrest 30 minutes in the morning before everyone wakes up and 30 minutes in the night before hitting the sack.
Make use of those valuable 1 hour for reading without any distractions and disturbances.
So you have satisfaction at the end of the day for completing 1 hour of reading per day.
Medium - Online/Offline!
There are many possible ways to read like physical books, e-books, and Audiobooks.
But mostly prefer physical books because the other options need a gadget online to read. So there are plenty of chances in there for getting you distracted with a small notification of your gadgets.
But there is another option - you can download your reading material, print those copies, and read those without distractions.
If it is an Audiobook, then download that book. After downloading, you can put your gadget in airplane mode until you finish listening. So you can escape from online distractions.

Honestly, it is hard to skip your favourite television show/Mobile but force yourself to book instead of those.
Try to hold your hand by grabbing your mobile/remote and telling your feet to go near a physical book.
Once you grab a book and get involved in a world of reading for about 5 to 10 minutes wholeheartedly. You can forget the craving for those gadgets.
